The Stone Heart is Beating
It has just chimed midnight on Monday July 16, 2018, here in Ireland. And you know what that means, don't you?
While the rest of the world sleeps, Stone Heart has just breathed for the first time. Its heart is beating. It is 20cm in length and weighs a healthy 15oz.
I am the proud parent of my fourth book baby.
Okay, okay, so that's just verging on weird, but did I mention it was midnight on book launch day? You'll forgive me for being overzealous, I'm sure.
The photo above was taken a few days ago, back when I had just received my advance copies of the novel. I did a newspaper interview with the local press that day and then took a trip up to Grianán Ailigh with my copies for a photo op. Seeing it in print, in your hands, for the first time is a magical experience. My good friends over in Leeds have recently had a baby (a real one, not a book), and I'm not claiming that this feels the same, but... it totally feels the same (guys, I know I haven't mailed your baby gift yet, but I will, I will!).
Oh, by the way, someone over on Facebook sent me a private message after I posted that image above, asking where the T-shirt is from. It's by Chunk Clothing and it's called Star Wars - Empire Selfie.
Are you all caught up?
Don't forget to read Hearts of Stone, the prequel to Stone Heart before you read the novel itself.
You don't have to, of course. You can enjoy the novel on its own. But this exclusive story reveals a little slice of life prior to the events of Stone Heart. You could even read it after reading the novel if you prefer.
Either way is fine, but join our email list now so that you don't miss out on the story before it's removed forever.
Reduced Kindle Price for One Week Only
Yes, that's right. If you haven't already pre-ordered your Kindle copy of Stone Heart and will have it delivered automatically to your device today, you can still grab it for a bargain price of just 99p / 99c. This offer will only be around for one week, so grab it while you can.
Stone Heart Out Now
And once you've read it, don't forget to leave a review on Amazon (or wherever you purchased your copy). Good or bad, all reviews will help.
I hope you'll enjoy the novel - and stay tuned for updates on the follow-up novel, Book 1 of the Ailigh Wars saga.
